For its 59th festival, WorldFest Houston looked to build on its legacy while reigniting excitement among modern audiences. As one of the longest-running independent film festivals, the opportunity was to celebrate not just new filmmakers, but the timeless power of cinema itself.
In a world where content is endless and attention is fleeting, the festival needed to stand out by reminding audiences why film still matters emotionally, culturally, and collectively, while driving attendance across a broad, diverse audience.
We created “Make a Scene,” a bold campaign that places audiences inside iconic cinematic moments, from romance and drama to action and suspense, turning viewers into participants. Using recognizable film-inspired visuals framed through a distinct graphic device, the work blurred the line between audience and story.
The campaign spanned print, digital, and social, capturing attention, driving engagement, and positioning WorldFest Houston as a living celebration of cinema, where every story, and every viewer has a place on screen.
